Time : 11am
Address : 26 Southwinds, Eagles Landing, Hartbeespoort (when at the boom-gate say: Julie at nr 26)
Location Pin: https://goo.gl/maps/G3Z4aJR2kwsHdZ998
(Tip: it is better to travel from Fountains in Pretoria and then to open the pin, especially when you drive from mid-Pretoria, otherwise, use the pin as it is given).
My name is Julie B Steynberg. I am celebrating 6 decades of a life that deserves to be written in a book! I believe in Writing your Story! Watch the Space: Two books Finesse magazine books. Co-author: Julie
On 18 October 2019 I will be celebrating a day of Wonder, my Birthday with Friends. On 25 October I will be celebrating my real-day birthday with loved ones & family.
#ToDo as Guest to this day: A Box is awaiting you, write down the following: (you may do this at home on a small piece of paper then bring with you) (then place the paper in the box that is given to you) and then you will be given 2 minutes introducing yourself and share your heart telling everybody present the journey with Julie and yourself. End off by saying what you think and know is your Special Gift from God.
Bring with any kind of drink that you like to have (try and keep it chilled). Some said they will bring something special such as Brownies / Samoosas, only bring something with if you really feel in your heart to do so. A special request from me to you: of course every girl loves a gift. Maybe you do not have the time to go and buy something: as NGO of DMI-SA I prefer offerings that will help me through the journey that lies ahead of me to visit schools starting to roll out a Youth Project – Teaching Humanity how to Love. My 1st visit is to be in Bloemfontein in November and then in Hazyview.
You might ask: Why all the fuzz. My Why https://www.differencemakers.co.za/my-why.html I celebrate life as a Gift from above. There were times in my life when I wanted to end it all, where I thought that it is not worth it to be alive no more. The drama & trauma of life experiences at times brought me to a place where I wanted to run away from it all. Thank God I persevered and decided not to give up. God’s Grace saved me from myself.
I am celebrating a day with Fabulous Women in my life, some could not make it, and thank you for those who travelled many miles and miles to be here today, 18 October 2019 Harties@Dam.

Women are the Glue that keeps things together! Share your Story! Someone out there needs what you have found.
I am dedicating space here to mention each one of the girls who is sharing the big day with me on my birthday: You in my life made me to be a better person, you enlarged my territory and you enriched my life with greatness, most of all, I found a safe-place with you as we served God. Thank you so much for the person you are to me!
1 Bertha le Roux-Wahl : Bertha you came into my life this year unexpectedly. We had a talk-session prepared for Radio Pulpit; and you had a long interview with me on your Radio Talk-show; we planned on doing more of this, and we will. I remember my Vanilla cat snuggling up on you, I am so glad you met her, my cat-child, today she’s is gone but loved dearly. We had an interview with Marlene vd Walt from DWFC in the studio of Radio Pulpit. You were one of the judges deciding who will be the winner of the Youth Challenge; also, we had a coffee-chat-break in Pretoria. Every time I met you, I was shown another part of the real Bertha who I adore today. This year you started shining as TV star on ‘7de Laan’ show again and I could see that this is you, you are such a movie-star-person and most of all you are His daughter indeed; a Jesus-child-of-God. I see His purity, His love for His people in you. I love you in my life, thank you for touching my heart with so much kindness & love shining from you. https://www.facebook.com/bertha.wahl
2 Cerita Nagy : You were at my birthday a few years ago too. The Pretty woman in the red dress were you, this is how I remember you. Then you flew higher than high with the eagles and became the President of the SACBW. One thing we have in common is our love for God and how I too discovered myself in a large way being the Chair of SACBW for two years, and then of course when I won as the best Chairperson of the year selected by the President herself: Annetjie Theron. You became so much more in the next years thereafter (in my eyes). What I love mostly about you is your love for God. This love for Him grew in you and it made you make decisions about your life that will indeed touch many lives in time to come. You became softer, gentler; fearfully His child. We became best friends only later, and I am glad, through this I became a richer person.
3 Ali (Aldalize) Cussons : I have met you at a Woman’s Camp (woman seeking God 1st). To me you are wise, you are fun and you are generous. I never gave up on you. We became best friends as we grew into ‘the who we are when we are together as friends’. You are an artist, you are classy. It’s lovely to call you ‘bestie’. I love your style, I love your character; in fact I became so fond of you and always am looking forward to our next gathering, having laughs, sharing wisdom, just being girls. Thank you Ali, I keep you in a safe place in my heart.
4 Hester Botha: You are the stars in my life. Always had been; I love you so so much and thank you Hes for being a best friend to me since day 1. I love your smart car at home when we visited, in fact I love everything about your house: I can boast on a friend with a Jaguar. I cannot wait to drive with you one day in this fabulous car of yours. It was fun visiting you and your loved ones in Swartwater on the farm. Our friendship grew into something so special that I cannot even imagine my life without you. Thank you Roxie (Roxzana Botes) for introducing us. You are such a gorgeous lady of style, yet so down-to-earth. You are generous; you are everything a daughter/ and daughter-in-law would want. I love your heart for God. To me you are like an elder sister, the one I never had. Thank you for being a Bestie to me.
5 Unine Botha :
I would have loved to have you as a daughter. I think the life as a ‘Farmer’s wife’ suits you well. This piece of the puzzle is a great fit. I have met you on the farm (Swartwater) as well as in Pretoria with a High Tea event, and Iove you for who you are in both worlds. I think to be your best friend would be marvellous. You are a best friend to have. Who you are linked Lani to me, and this is how Lani is finding #BigAnswers from God. How great is that! I think your mother-in-law Hester is the best to have; this is how I know you, through her big heart. There is so much power in what you do and think off. Go Girl Go!
6 Lani Troskie :
I simply love to see how God can take one person at a time and transform a life like no one can do it! You have decided to find and keep what is yours. First to find your True Self and then to find the Gift of what love really is. You have so much power in you I know it; I’ve seen it and heard it. You’ve got God’s back. He is in it and therefore I know that I know that your life is going to be an orchestra of celebrations to come. Your man is lucky to have you as his. It is awesome to be in this journey with you, together me and you will we serve the Lord and this is how we will enjoy abundance from Him. You are strong, you are courageous and you are His daughter. I suspect that God favours you a lot, you are the sparkle to His Kingdom.
15 Rina v Straten : I’ve known you for years and then we met again at Uncle Angus’ Day in Pretoria with Janine from Radio Pulpit on a photo with us. You are such an inspiration of how a woman can save a home. You are a good friend. Thank you.

You indeed are a man of God DrC. Your heart is at the right place. I am glad that we could travel together to Cape Town to have an interview with Errol Naidoo. We made history together. This is how I met Annemarie from Worcester, who became a bestie friend; also Nessa Lemmer who is dear to my heart. Then I met your wife Emily who also had become dear to me. It sometimes takes time before someone ‘gets’ you: “I am glad Emily that eventually we found one another through the love that is in us shining from the Source: God”. The journey with DrC was great, I almost believed I could be in politics, all of it was great, also was lessons learned. I dedicate a few more woman who touched my life tremendously:
Helice Sparky Bridges (California) : You had seen the person I am and have allowed me to be duplicated by you. Thank you so much Helice that you believed in me and that you had seen from day 1 that I am the one who can do this at Difference Makers S.A. I love this, I love what I do. All because of you; the Founder of Difference Makers Int. S.A.
Angelique du Toit : I remember so much good that came from knowing you and how it came to me: You are a remarkable woman, most of all, you serve and love God, this is what I like most about you. It is pure gold to have the opportunity to getting to know you over a few years now. We love and we learn, then we decide to take the best and run with it. I never gave up believing in you and I am glad. God is in it for sure!
Stephnie Barnard (Abigail & Karla) and of course my son Jaun :
God has been so faithful where He had shown all of us mentioned here how He can bring people together with love, His love. I love you Stephnie. You are at the best place in your life, finding your worth as a woman, as a wife and as a mother; also being a professional in the work space. I love you Jaun my son, you made my day the day you said on stage to 3 500 woman: “I am the man that I am because of my this woman- my mother, and I want to place a Blue Ribbon on you mom; thank you for who you are to me and my family”, when you said this on stage Jaun, my life sparkled. Thank you for naming your 1st born to the baby-girl I lost with Francois: her name was Abigail. And that you said yes to this request of your man, my son: Jaun. The 4 of you bring so much joy into my life. Having so much to do together as a family enriches my life and Francois’ life.
I love my son’s Johan and Jaco as much as I love life itself. I pray and hope that one day we will be able to see and find one another in such a way that none of us could comprehend. Your dad is gone but I know that Francois in my life always was a ‘father’ to you all, my three sons. Johan you had been my pillar in life for so long, thank you for being strong and courageous and being a Josua indeed.
Last but not least : Francois Steynberg
With you I always wanted to become a better person. I thank God for you. I thank Him as much as I can when I can for the life that we had, good or bad it was part of the journey to where we are today. I love you with all of my heart. We became best friends, partners and companions for life. This year we celebrate on 17 October 2019 twenty (20) years of marriage. You are my son’s hero. You are mine too. I thank God that I was strong enough to ‘fight’ for you and to keep you as my best friend today. My life with you is better. Together we are stronger. And thank God we serve God together as one at last. Two is better than one indeed! You are extremely intelligent, you are wise, you are the funniest man I’ve met (believe it or not); your generous heart these days, and actually all of my days makes me sing of joy. You give your best and let me tell you this: your best is enough!
A last word of encouragement: Training Ground : Being a single mom raising three boys (who are men today with their own 2 daughters); was not easy. Having no support in any way at all was hard. I had to make it alone and on my own, until I saw Jesus sitting in my lounge asking me to come and sit with Him, yes I did, I saw Him through spiritual eyes. I was hopeless not knowing where the next meal would come from and in despair of all the things happening. It was too much for me, so I thought. Being in that situation you do feel ‘I cannot do this, it’s over’. But, you can! God and life itself will not allow things in your life that you cannot handle. All of it is training ground to become the person you were born to be! I look back and I know for sure that I became a better person because of the perseverance in me to never ever give up and to keep on keeping on no matter what. I got married at age 40 and had to move to another city, the big city Pretoria! To me was given another chance to do better, I was surrounded with challenges bigger than life itself. The day I faced cancer (2012) on the screen I knew I was not going to die. I just knew it. Maybe it was faith, maybe it was God Himself telling me there and then. My new life started. I found the real, raw me, the person I knew for so many years I wanted to be. It was in me all the time I just had to find ‘her’. Mom & Dad (belated) told me that I almost died at home being very ill. Third time around: I was in a car accident on the highway saved by an angel. Look at me now! I celebrate life. Life is good. Life is a gift. Never ever give up on who you are and who you were born to be. Psalms 139.

Psalms 139.
