She honours the collective role we play in environmental consciousness. Her poetry is a realisation of where we have come from environmentally and where we are, with respect to legislation and various implementation tools, we collectively adopt.  She ponders on what has brought these changes and portrays a prophetic vision of unity and success, as we hold hands together within all our spheres of influence, to honour the hand that feeds us ‘our environment’.

Babalwa’s vision as an African female business owner and entrepreneur is to be a voice of consciousness and  an instrument of change in the manner in which development and environmental matters are handled.  She sees her poetry as a conduit through which, all the information that has been imparted unto her through various spheres of association, schooling and by unsung heroic mentors, can be released unto others and be utilized in collaborative thought processes to contribute in decision making for the betterment of our country.  As such, she gives live performances/sharing  of poetry and motivational talks from her books at churches, orphanage homes, and other  reputable public gatherings like the Mandela Day event. This allows her to be a voice of consciousness and helps her to promote self-awareness, growth, understanding, self-trust, respect and most importantly, acknowledgement of one’s presence and being.

Babalwa as the Founder of Myezo Growth and Development Institute, prefers to use her gifts, opportunities and companies she runs, as a conduit through which she can provide employment opportunities to unemployed graduates, especially, youth. She believes that we contend with the issues of feeling disempowered and globalization, even though has its tremendous benefits, can also introduces feelings of being displaced as a result some people battle with depression. She formally structured a platform for the empowerment of women through the experiential training her company provides, where learning goes beyond environmental management, to life and leadership skills. She is involved in supporting socio-economic development initiatives that promote upliftment and inspiring women and children, including boys, to be the great people they are created to be. She is actively involved in transferring of skills through mentoring of previously disadvantaged, unemployed youth and graduates, she does this by allocating time and resources for coaching aspiring natural scientists in practical assignments and other key relevant aspects of environmental management. She provides support to students and assists them in obtaining their qualification. She strongly believes that when people know they matter, they let out the fire within and provide a positive change in spaces around them. Babalwa shares her personal and professional experience, life lessons to groom and uplift the people around her so that we can all be a world that is governed by people of substance.  She plays an advisory role on boards of non-profit organisations such as Tsogang Youth Foundation and is a Director of a women empowerment organisation called Vintage Recycling Project.
