LINDA OBERHOLZER
BESKERMHEER VAN DIE JUNIOR STADSRAAD VAN PRETORIA
Seisoene.

Sometimes it takes one woman to realise that they are not defined by their past, that bad circumstances need not be the end of their world and that, through determination, forgiveness, humility and faith, it is easy to imitate a Biblical life. I am one of those women, not the only one … merely one of a very large contingent around the world.
The road has not been easy and there has been times when I lost my way completely, but God always had a way to bring me back. What started as “When chains break – Harnessing the giant in you to become truly great”, turned into “God’s Butterfly”. This movement aims to assist women to dig into their struggles, find their power and be the leaders and women they were meant to be. |
ALZA RAUTENBACH
FOUNDER & CEO : FEED A CHILD
Everyone who knows me, know that my biggest passion in life is to make a positive difference in someone else's life. I do believe that 'Changing Lives Making a Difference' is a wonderful, fruitful gift given by God. After studying Human Resource Management, God first prepared me for this journey for 12 years by running my own recruitment company.
Then one day out of the blue, He called me to start making a bigger impact in other people’s lives. Because of this calling Feed a Child was born in 2010. I am a typical example that you don’t have to have any experience in the charity industry to start making a difference. You don’t have to have all the knowledge in world and you don’t have to be a “Someone”. God uses ordinary people like me and prepare you in your normal day to day living to use what you have to make a difference to other people. All of us are in a position to touch someone else’s life in a positive way. I am in the fortunate position to do this on a full time basis and my mission is to put action into someone’s willingness to help. Also Feed a Child’s slogan. The best part is that you don’t have to run a charity organisation to make a difference. It starts with the smallest gesture. |
