MICHELLE WOEST

OWNER SILVER LINING TOMBSTONES |
CHANGE MAKER DMI-SA | AUTHOR IN WRITING

I am filled with gratitude and overwhelmed with excitement to have been nominated as a Top 100 SA Difference Makers.  How exciting! I feel honoured and in the same time humbled to be recognized for just living out my dream and purpose in life; to live a beautiful meaningful life, a life where I can inspire, aspire, motivate and serve humanity. I want to become a part of the Global Movement at @Difference Maker SA because I believe that the more you share your love with others, the more it grows. And serving others is the highest quality of love you will ever experience in your life. My purpose in life is to live a beautiful and meaningful life, solidified by faith and therefore it unlocks a way of being. I am a change maker (as it is strived for on this platform) because I wake up every day with the intent and purposefully look for opportunities to serve.
I will add value to DMI-SA because what of what they stand for and what they are fighting for is in relation with what I believe and stand for. I believe I am a Change Maker; thank you for this platform (DMI-SA) that gives me the recognition in what I love to do. I was involved with several projects, where my hand find something fit to do for others, I go there. Here is a list mentioning only a few projects I am involved with, just to show S.A. I love Changing Lives Making a Difference. (1) Poverty sucks  (2) Phyllis Roberson Home  (3) Imfundo Educare (Visit my website to see more).

I am an entrepreneur and have a successful business, Silver Lining Tombstones. As motivational speaker I love to uplift woman and relate to postpartum depression, Bipolar and psychosis, inspiring them to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am the co-founder and director of the Henry Bond Dystonia fund (this project is very dear to my heart and it has not lifted off as yet, but I will be putting more effort into getting it off the ground, as my grandfather and my uncle had this decease,  we know the pain and we want to create awareness and also help fund people with this disease's operations costs).  Our country is struggling tremendously with the lack of education, poverty, abuse and concerning crime rates and these factors are linked to each other, I believe with the right education, starting at a young age will have a great impact on fighting poverty and abuse or crime.  I can see myself working together with DMI-SA because of their vision and that is to bring the light back to South-Africa, a country where the crime rate is among the highest in the world, the unemployment figures are sky rocketing and the core of the problem revolves around the lack of education or opportunities for growth.  When the right education systems or training centres to create entrepreneurs and leaders are in place, opportunities will seize and this country will become what the DMI-SA are working hard to achieve.  I know I can contribute to making this change happen, my passion is to work with and teach people, it all transcends back to values and beliefs, which are formed at a very young age.  When we work together to give children of poverty the chance to get educated in the right manner and giving them a promising future with hope, education and love, we will achieve great heights.  I am at this very moment busy writing my first book on Inspirational and Spiritual well being; it will be published in 2020.
I am a difference maker, because I apply myself daily to aspire, inspire, motivate and to make a difference in others lives. I am passionate about teaching others to be kind, to be givers, to succeed in life and to serve.
Question DMI-SA: “What would you do if you get R1Mil to change others lives?”
Michelle answers:  “I would set up a teaching school for everyone who wishes to excel to excellence in spirit, mind, body and soul.  I believe that the old saying, be the change you want to see in this world.  It all begins with you, using your pain to leverage pleasure, helping all people of different walks in life, we all have a story, we all have been through some or many painful experiences, by healing oneself you are then ready to spread the love and cheer.  I will teach others to purposefully and intentionally seek opportunities to serve other.  Serving others is the highest quality of love anyone will ever experience in their lives.  Making a difference is not by the size of the act, but more importantly the impact and change it brings.
